di batas angan-angan
di batas kesadaran
di ujung keluh kesah yang semakin dalam
sehelai daun kemangi bercerita
tentang setetes embun yang selalu dirindukannya
untuk menidurkan rasa haus yang selalu datang
yang kadang datang kesiangan
hanya untuk menjumpai garangnya matahari
merenung masih di batas kegalauan
di ujung tembok belokan jalan
tempat orang-orang kencing sambil berdiri
tempat anjing mengangkat kaki
berteman bau pesing yang menyengat
menunggu ilham datang
menunggu khayalan datang
sesabar penyair yang kehabisan kata
menoreh harapan yang sepertinya masih jauh di ujung benak
memandang keriuhan orang bercengkerama
mengikuti alunan nasib di nadi
terbahak seolah esok masih panjang
tak sadar bahwa Tuhan telah menurunkan kiamat-Nya
kesedihan atau kegembiraan tak ada bedanya
masih bisakah menangis saat ini ?
roh mulai melantur tak lagi mengikuti tulisan tangannya
roh meninggalkan kediaman mengikuti tarian liarnya
seseorang termenung di dekat tungku
menunggu malaikat meniup nafiri
pikirnya, mungkin lebih baik membiasakan diri dengan panas
sebelum merasakan neraka
masih sabar dia di sana, sejak tahun lalu
hanya diam, memandang api
yang menjilati tubuhnya yang semakin hitam
di ujung sepi
ada yang masih terpaku
bercakap tentang kiamat yang tak jadi datang
